# Well, it’s leeking again at Rockstar.

So yeah, a week has passed since the leaks by “CyberLeek” and what can I even say, the hell is burning.

The leaker called “CyberLeek” has leaked gameplay footage of probably the most anticipated game of our century. Reddit is completely blowing up with posts about it, one side is attacking the other, people argue if the leaks should even be shared and honestly it’s just chaotic.

CyberLeek says he is doing all of this because of “gamer rights” and because he wants to fight back against the possibility of no physical release.

Sounds noble right? Yeah well not really.

At the same time he had his own crypto coin, but apparently deleted it completely, worth around 1 million USD at the time, to prove that this isn’t about money for him and that he really is doing it for “gamer rights”.

And it gets even more insane.

For the laughable amount of around 140k USD you can apparently contact him and negotiate what kind of “custom” gameplay you want to see.

Basically he wants to show everyone that he has the power.

And if what he says is actually true, he doesn’t just have some clips lying around. He claims to have access to a playable build of GTA VI.

He also wants a public apology from Rockstar. If he doesn’t get one, he says there will be a new leak every single day.

And well... 

So far he is keeping that promise.

He even talked about what is basically a “dead man’s switch”. According to him, if he stops logging in for a certain amount of time, the build would automatically be released to the public. Which is honestly insane if true.

And that’s basically where we are right now.

To be honest, for me the whole thing is just sad.

As someone who is really hyped for GTA VI, seeing the gameplay this raw and unfinished kinda destroys a part of the fun.

This is not how we are supposed to see the game. And as a gamer who has waited years for this game, I don’t really want parts of that experience spoiled through random clips on X.

We will see what happens next, but I can already say one thing.

It’s going to be exciting.

And chaotic.

Very chaotic.

And yeah, I clearly see myself on Rockstar’s side here. But imagine how funny it would be if Rockstar actually punched back in their own way. Imagine a GTA Online DLC where a huge tech company gets blackmailed by a leaker. The whole in game social network is going crazy, people are talking about leaked footage everywhere and the tech company eventually hires the player to hunt down the leaker. And then obviously, because it’s GTA, you have to kill him.

In game of course.

I think that would be such a funny way for Rockstar to respond without even directly responding.

Anyways, stay connected and excited.

And maybe stay away from the leaked footage if you actually want GTA VI to surprise you.
